I'm going to start the official 2008 Valentines Day thread. Nobody asked me to, I just decided to do it......by gosh.

Everybody gets a valentine.

Everybody is loved.

Hug somebody. Smile at somebody. Do a favor for somebody. Compliment somebody. Show the LOVE.

Good thread Along...we need to take time and let our friends know that we care about them.

I'd like to start off with thanking all the foc'ers. It's so funny. I told Carol that I never posted in their thread because I thought they were the "....fans of Michael Jackson" and know that they wouldn't be happy with me posting there.

One day I began to read their thread and realized who Carol and Chris were and from that day on I've posted in their thread.

Now that I've gotten to know all of these lovely members, I've really grown to love them. They are so full of beans and fun. They certainly are faithful and true friends to anyone who wants to be their friend.

Okay...I'm going to revive this thread for 2012 Valentines Day.



The flowers on the white table are the first Valentine flowers Hubby gave me over 12 years ago. The other flowers were given to me from my Hubby last year for Valentines day. The white table flowers are artificial, the second flowers are real.

Which ones do you prefer? No...you can't have them...but you can admire them from afar. :wah:

Real flowers every time!!

The real flowers were gorgeous and a sweet surprise. But alas, they didn't last too long. I did take that photo of them and that photo lasts a long time. The artificial flowers are still here in our home on a shelf in the living room to be proudly dusted.

They say it's the thought that counts. To me, it's how your sweetheart treats you the rest of the year...not just on Valentines day.
