Many years ago I decided to stop for a beer after work forgetting that there was a baseball meeting for my oldest son. I came home and I was suddenly the head coach. Took me 12 years to get out of that one. Its crazy how much a beer costs sometimes.:wah:

When I helped run a Nursery which was a charity/church run affair, I always got roped into something or other.....Worst being voted to be on the Wales Pre Playgroup Association Committee which I then got voted from that to being a National Council rep which is basically a trustee for the whole organisation (PPA) in Wales and involved all day meetings all over Wales. I was also voted onto the Children and families national lottery funding committee also from the PPA commitee. So that was 3 committee's plus the committee we had from the nursery...Dont even get me started on all the AGM's I had to go to lol...
It was fun but very tiring and fund raising is a hard job at the best of times.
