I was actually at the Millenium Dome when it was doing the whole Millenium thing, and I thought that the building itself, and the Tube station and all that was fantastic, but the actual Millenium dome exhibition was the greatest load of horsesh*te I'd had the pleasure to witness, in fact it was so bad, it was actually interesting in a weird way. But I am glad that they have used the site itself well and that very impressive dome for doing something useful, it's an amazing building. :)

I'm with Galbally, having watched a programme in the week on architecture the actual biulding is pretty cool. It was the exhibition that was a waste of time. Good to know they are actually doing something with it now. :-6

Oh I thought the dome had been demolished and some houses or something else was in it's place, apparently not then.

I went to the Dome when it had the exhibits up a couple of years ago, and I didn't think it was all that bad. Sure it wasn't as good the hype that had surrounded it, but I found it to be an enjoyable afternoon out still.

So what exactly is the Dome now, some sort of multi-purpose complex?
