Serendipity: good luck in finding things not sought for.

When and how is the last time you had a serendipitous experience ?

Yesterday J. and I were early for a pre intervention meeting in a city we were both fairly unfamiliar with.

We had breakfast (ham & cheese omelette)

Afterwards we found the location but still had time to kill so we drove around a bit. We found a street with all these old magnificent mansions overlooking the Mississippi River. The Governors mansion, railroad tycoons, the original settlers of the capitol of Minnesota built their homes on this street overlooking the Capitol bldg.

Then we decided to stop in The Cathedral of St. Paul, what a treat. The choir was practicing so we sat and absorbed the most beautiful sounds drifting through us. Then we walked through the cathedral taking in statues and stained glass and some of the most decadent (Catholic of course) surroundings Ive ever seen.

Serendipity.

The meeting of my hubbie was serendipity.:)

As a divorcee, I did not expect to meet someone and marry again and be happy.

I did, I did, and I am.
