hah hah were quite alike, I dont mix my food either but I eat veg then potato then meat, always in that order lol...

My youngest has been helping out round the house and has been drying the pots. I went into my cutlery drawer to find the forks all facing the wrong way, so I had to change them, she didnt see me but hubby did and called me obsessive lol...Also when I wash up, I put the knives forks and spoons in their seperate compartments in the drainer in that order but if hubby washes up he goes spoons then knives and forks and it drives me barmy, he now does it on purpose just to wind me up...My toilet roll has to go under, I hate over lol..

Dont ever dare to put dirty dishes in my washing up bowl unless you rinsed them first and make sure every little thing washed has been rinsed in cold water afterwards, dont be leaving washing up liquid residue on my dishes.

Think I best stop there for now lol

Just come across your post about eating habits.

Is it a gender thing?

I remember visiting my much elder sister when I was about twenty and I think she served a common Scottish dish of minced steak, boiled "tatties" and "neeps (Turnip) along with green peas and a little gravy.

She expressed horror that I just mashed the whole lot up into one homogeneous mass.

At that age - knowing everything there was to know in the world - replied rather tartly, I now think.

"Food is just an evil necessity we have to eat to live."

"In that case," she replied just as tartly, "the next time I will just put the whole lot into one pot and cook it altogether."

I should point out at that time that eminent scientists were proclaiming that they would be able to develop a pill that could be eaten in place of a cooked meal.

How Times Have Changed

However, I have alway eaten fruit with the skin on and even tried bananas and oranges because I read "somewhere " during those youthful years that all the "goodness" was just under the skin.

"Don't forget the bioflavinoids" as the advert of those days kept pumping at us.

I did not pursue that Idea for long.

"Smoothies" seem to be a modern recreation of some of those ideas.

You may be right, I have a habit of mixing up my food as well, whilst my mum eats each food seperately. Don't think either way is strange though, just a prefered taste!

I refuse to touch anyones drivers licenses. The officers are now getting used to it though. I will grab it but with a paper towel. Mostly, I make them read the numbers off to me. You'd be surprised what people do with those things. And we use a lot of Purell at the office.

We were kidding the other day that we never talk to anyone nice. It's either criminals or pissed off victims yelling at you. And I don't want to touch anything they have.
