Jodie Foster shines playing her role as the victim of brutal beating by thugs.

Her performance is everything you would expect from her but the story falters

in the relationship she develops with the detective (Terrence Howard) assigned to her case. Realism takes a back seat to drama when the detective sides with her methods of revenge.

No regrets though, its still a good film and worth the rent.

Meh this flick didn't do it for me....

The trailer looks good, though the plot seems overly familiar.

The trailers always look good. She put in a good performance and thats what carries the film.

For the most part Ms. Foster always put in a good performance but I don't think I will put this one in my Netflix cue.
