Why do you wake up everyday and choose to live? I've been told everything is a choice. So i ask you why do you choose to live? What inspires you? Or why do you wish some days you didn't wake up? For me I choose to wake up because i love life and everything about it. My inspiration comes in everything; an older couple still in love, the birds chirping as i walk to breakfast, the crazy texas weather, the call i get from my mother everyday that i don't always enjoy, to see the guy i like smile at me, to hear one more song, to dance one more time, to just live one more day.

so why do you choose to live?

Skittles

I wake up for all those reasons & the whistles & the honk of a horn & to smell that beautiful rose - eat a great steak -- absolutely.

And if I don't wake up - that's OK too..

I wake up because I have 3 people depending on me!!....and I am thankful for everyday I do wake up, even though the days I'm living right now are filled with uncertainity....I know that things are going to be okay and I will appreciate these times for being in the past!

Because I want to know what happens next. How will the human race cope with the challenges of the next forty years? Are we going to burn/drown or will we create a more balanced, cleaner world? Can Bangladesh be saved? Will NZ win the next Rugby World Cup? Will England EVER learn to play cricket? Will I walk to Cambridge in April? Does the UK have a future?

I'm CURIOUS!:-6

With a world full of characters like you, why on earth would I choose to die?? :wah:

I love to lift people's spirits, and I love to tease grumps. Just the other day, a teacher I was certain hated me for no good reason, asked me if I could give him a little of what I had. He envied me for coming to work with a smile and keeping it all day long. I told him it was a mixture of excess optimism and complete delusion. :D I've got it far too good in this life to ever leave voluntarily.

Waking up is easy to do, but to go thru each day with happiness is hard. I make a point to appreciate all the good things that are in my life. I make a concious effort to see the beauty in it all.

A few constants:

My sweet, loving dogs

The way the air smells after a good rain

Thunderstorms

A good, strong cup of coffee in my favorite mug

A friendly stranger

My boyfriend, the best friend & companion I could ever ask for

My family, with all their complexities are always there

Making the Dean's List

My comfy bed

Sex :)

The future and its possiblities

last, but certainly not least, being ABLE to wake up to another day.

ok, wipe the throwup off your keyboards, i'm done.

xoxo

Don't take Nomad throwing up personally. He's having a rough time, so was very likely to react negatively to your post. Happiness looks very small and trivial when 30 tons of crap lands on your head.
