do you keep loads of ice in the freezer for the eventual fishing trips.
do you always have ice trays ready in the freezer for guests?
I fill washed out milk containers with water and put them in the freezer for when the power goes off.......(fresh drinking water)
I do it:sneaky:
The milk containers etc:wah:
Not as much now that we don't live on the property.
I do have the ice trays filled all the time though, old habits die hard.

I do make ice cubes in the freezer in the old fashioned way yes, as I don't have a ice-cube maker type fridge just an ordinary one.

A tip guys for when you go out for a picnic or whatever......Get an empty cola or lemonade bottle (plastic type) and three quarters fill it with water and freeze. When you go out put it in your cooler bag with your food etc and not only does it keep it lovely and cold you have a lovely cold drink later..........you could also put some flavouring in it
