thank you Kay, i'm glad someone realizes that he does look like me!:wah::wah:

he really had fun, once he understood that he was supposed to be finding the eggs he didn't want to stop, we had to throw the eggs back out on the lawn and let him pick them up again!:wah:

Oh how cute. At least he got an Easter egg hunt. I did one for Quin, but my mom dropped the ball at her house and didn't hide them. He was bummed to say the least.

yeah this hunt was at Jacob's other grandparents house, we didn't do one at my mom's, this way he had more children to hunt eggs with.

Well thank you! Yes he's my little darlin, and yeah he did have fun this was the first Easter where he was old enough to have an idea what was happening.

you've got that right! he's very, very affectionate, always wanting to kiss and hug people all the time! I have two cancerians, a girl on 6/22 and a boy on 6/26. Always a big deal that week, plus my two nephews on 6/23 & 6/30, my dad on 7/2 and our wedding anniversary on 7/1. Yeah, that is some busy week:wah:

It is not as stressful as you might think. We cram my two kids birthdays into one day for all of their friends and then separately, we do each of them on their days. So, in other words, I make it a share birthday on the 24th. Dad & nephews get a card and some money/gift cards and anniversary is usually forgotten and you know why:wah:plus on top of all that is 4th of July.

I'm sure he did! I found out that having a great Easter when I was young, really makes you want to give your children (not that I have any, but I would if I did,) to have a great time like I did and to enjoy the celebration! :-6

In my house, we hide the Easter baskets and the plastic eggs filled with candy. I even hide them for my 3 teens who still enjoy it.

you're right, and we've got one tradition thats being renewed since Jacob was born, you see the cake in the pictures, it's a coconut cake with jelly beans decorating it, my mom made me a jelly bean cake every year when i was a kid and they took my picture with it, she hadn't made one in years but she restarted the tradition for Jacob this year.

why thank you Kathy, yeah i'm pretty happy about him too, i had just about given up hope of ever being a mom. It was a subject that i had prayed over for more than 10 years, but i kept the faith over all that time and in the end i got my miracle!:-6
