"Why all this thought"? Because your trust has been betrayed. Whether or not that trust was misplaced is the question...Did you have an understanding of exclusivity with "S"? And how old are the two of you? You'll excuse me for saying so, but you sound young. If you are as young as you seem, why are you talking marriage already?

And what about your slip-up? Have you told him about that? Is it possibly the guilt you feel from that encounter that's causing these thoughts?
