Ok people - what are you going to do this year to fool your loved ones? One of the best pranks (pulled on me of course) was when my friends in college set up 400 dixie cups filled with water at the bottom my staircase - one of the cups had a fish in it! I had to pick up and empty every cup (and find a home for the fish) before I could get to the kitchen, or the door to leave for class. It was a pretty good prank.

This year I'm still trying to figure out what to do, but I did see a great way to fool your kids on ParentsConnect: Try sending your kid to school this April Fool's Day with a lunchbox full of plastic food. Imagine his shock when he opens his lunchbox to find a meal that's even more inedible than the cafeteria food. Just make sure to give the teacher a replacement lunch—or show up in the cafeteria with a Happy Meal to say "Gotcha!" in person.

Anyone have other good pranks or ideas?

Angeleyes: Your family must have a better sense of humour than me! I might take it if I was your husband, though it would be an effort but if I was your Mum I'd be really and genuinely upset...

Well, once I worked in a factory at a worbench all day. Some guy had the bench next to mine. We all wore heavy, black rimmed safety glasses. His were perscription. I noticed he took his off each time he took a break or went to the restroom. I had an extra pair with clear lenses. switch, switch. Poor guy went to several docs for check ups.

I'm terrible at pranks,, in fact i cant do them i always feel too sorry for people or think they might not take the joke and get mad,,, yes im a wuss:wah:

I'm definately gonna try the fake lunch one with all 4 kids:wah:

No they all have great sense of humors. They play tricks on me too.

My mom called me one year and told me she was in the hospital cause she had to have emegency surgery & she might not pull through.

My husband has told me that he has another girlffriend & he wants to be with her.. It's April Fools Day I expect something terrible!


Phew! :wah::wah::wah: By gum, you lot don't pull your punches!

a local radio station here has been playing Christmas music all day long!

they announced that they'd changed their lineup and they were now going to play Christmas music 365 days a year! a lot of people liked the idea, others weren't to happy!

they later announced that it was an April Fools prank!:wah:

I have an older, diabetic customer who has fallen a few times from his sugar dropping too low. He left today and this other guy yells, "OMG! Did he just fall?" He RAN for the door. A couple of people followed him out. One lady came back in just cussing up a storm about it not being a funny April Fool's joke. I was amused. :wah:

I sent Karl a text telling him I was pregnant. Felt really bad afterwards as he told his family and when he called me in the evening really concerned as we don't want any more children and I am against abortion, I told him it was an April Fools, he wasn't too impressed with me but was relieved too.
