Did you guys know that every one of the Oscars given out at the

Academy Awards is a "blank"? Every single one of them has to be

shipped BACK to the Academy to have the little plaques with "Best

Performance by an Actress" or whatever put on. Then shipped back to the

Oscar winner. A bit cumbersome, I think. But the Academy is so leary

of word getting out beforehand that that's the way they do it!!

Well, they DID get a bunch stolen a few years back... not all of which

were recovered.

How hard would it be to have maybe a few ingravers onsite the night of the OCSARS ingraving them after they announced as the winner. It would save time and money.
