i am wanting to sign up for msn messenger ... i have tried to sign in but they say my firewall is blocking them ...
i am a very serious dumbass with computers and internet ...
can anyone help and explain very slowly what i have to do ... like you would to a five ... no make that that ... a four year old?

We need to know the version of msn, and your operating system, and whether you're using a software firewall and if so which, and whether you have a router and if so which.

Here's a good start - go to
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and download and run the program there. It'll give you a web page showing how your computer's configured. PM me a copy of what it says (putting it into the thread's giving away too many details).
What's the name of the box you plug your computer into to connect to the Internet?
