Rain

Welsh rain is the wettest

It soaks and seeps and clings

Oozes itself slowly

Through your warmest, driest things.

Scottish rain is different

You'd never face it bare

Half solid when it hits you

It freezes in your hair.

Irish rain is ceaseless

They simply get it all

From drizzle through to downpour

And even waterfall;

But the rain in England happens

Only out of office hours

So we have our hottest summers

But remember only showers...

Rain is good! Not a whole crapload mind you. But a little tinkle is O.K.

He's right about that Welsh rain. It's the wettest wet rain ever...

Dutch rain is something else.. from mot regen the fine almost invisible mist ( like hill mists only we don't have hills) which will soak you to the bone and freeze you very quickly.

Then there ijs regen a kind of ice water, its liquid as it falls but freezes as it hits you or the floor, not to mention the sleet, then theres the kind that falls at the size of golf balls and accelerates faster than a formula one car so that when it hits you it almost gives you concussion, and even when its not actually raining they have water koud (water cold) thats like being in a too cold airco its not wet but you feel the chill seeping into you and freezing you from the inside out.

The best bit is the constant wind because of this umbrellas are of no use. You just end up looking like a demented Mary Poppins.

In Ireland you know that it is summertime because the rain get warmer.:yh_shamrk

That's all we've been seeing all winter, rain! At least the flowers are coming up nicely.

Sometimes in the hot and humid disgusting East coast weather a little rain ain't too bad.
