I travled to Kansas City friday through Sunday to watch my youngest son wrestle in the Brute Adiddas national wrestling tournament, There were over 1700 kids from 38 different states. Mitchell is now the grade 11 143lb. national champion. He wrestled five matches in his bracket, had 3 pins won 15-0 and 10-5. Way to go Mitch!!!!
I hear he gets his talent from his dad.:wah:

YZGRL (my wife) didn't make the trip so there are few pics. I took one of him on the awards stand with my phone but have no idea how to transfer it to comp. They wil be sending me pic's from the award stand that eventually I will post, they said it would be a couple of weeks. I recorded his championship match and it lasted all of 10 seconds. He shot in and pinned the other kid in 10 seconds. I was so friggin nervous from around 6 in the morning till 2:30 in the afternoon Sunday and the whole champioship match lasted 10 seconds:wah:
Go figure, but was worth it.

Hey Jimbo. Go to this site and click to picture 43. Mitch is the one on top in white. This was his State finals match he won 3-0 to become the state champion last week.

Hopefully when you get the photographers pic, you can take a pic of that pic and then post it again, clearer of course.

This is my future wrestler, my 3 yr old grandson. This was at the wichita classic tournament which Mitch won also. My grandson will not take these headgear off for nothing and tries to get anyone who walks near to wrestle with him.:wah::wah:
Wow this is gonna be fun now that I know how to do the phone thingy.

Congrats! That's quite an accomplishment! Your son looks strong - and proved it on the mats.
