Had lunch at the inlaw's yesterday. Afterward everyone was outside talking. My daughter was playing in the water, and accidentally hosed down my sister n law.

Everyone is trying to keep from laughing, except my sister-n-law,who is going on rampage that my daughter did it on purpose. Yep my 4 year old daughter understands that you don't like her, and decided to seek vengeance by hosing you down with a water hose. Yea the f*uck right, grow the hell up.

I swear I'm just a few steps away from letting loose on my sister-n-law. She dislikes my daughter. And the only reason Dave and I can think of, is that she's jealous of her. Which is sad cause she's a 4 year old and my sister n law is 49. :-5

I could see if your daughter was 6 or 7, then yeah. But not a four year old as they really don;t have the capacity to do these kinds of things on "purpose". Sounds like your SIL is a real pill.

Did you have to do the stupid apology on behalf of your daughter or did she insist that your daughter apologize? Your daughter will see her aunt in due time as the nutcase she is and learn to ignore her.

No apologies were given, my mother n law stepped in for Ayden, and told Sally it was an accident, and to get over it. Then told Ayden to move out further in the yard.

But kids do pick up on it. At Thanksgiving, we were all out there playing cards. Sally was in one of her moods..actually the she was being herself. My son walks up to her and says what's wrong. Sally sais she's grumpy. Zakk sais try harder not to be grumpy. We all fall out of our chairs laughing that a 7 year old told her, and she get's up in a huff and goes home.

Is she like this around the adults? She doesn't have kids does she or she would understand?

That's what I love about young children, they say what's on their minds.

Yes, very much so. My mother n law stated the other day to hubby that you cannot hold a conversation with your sister without her griping about someone or something. She has 3 kids, they are all grown. Her sons don't really have anything to do with her. And her daughter is getting to point she's tired of it all, wants to lead her own life. Which I can't blame her, she's gonna be 28 this August and is a school teacher.

Weird.

I was up at the cabin and my brother had a similar problem with our 4 yr old nephew.

He was furious with him, he was going to leave.

Something about sitting in front of the tv.

I dont get it.
