Well, I'm a little concerned that you would say she deserves it like

that, that's no reason to date someone.



How long have she and this guy been split up? How good of a friend

is she to you, really? Perhaps you could go to her and say "Look, I

really value your friendship and I don't want to lose it, but X and I

were thinking of dating (or whatever) and I wondered how you would

feel about that". She might surprise you and say it doesn't bother

her at all... OR you have to be prepared that she might be really

upset. Could go either way, you have to decide for yourself if this

guy is worth losing her friendship. Me, I have misgivings that you are

as close with this girl as you think you are!!

I wonder your age???? Are indeed 14. If your even thinking about dating this guy, who use to date your dear friend.. Then your not really her friend at all.

Make a choice you will lose him or her just that simple. :-5

Also how would you feel about yourself after doing this. Sometimes it just doesn't pay. Having integrity and being trust worthy is more important.

When I was a teenager..and it wasn't that long ago..the general rules were:

1. Never date someone one of your friends has dated

2. Never date someone who is related to someone you have dated

3. Never date your siblings ex's

Did you tell him that she was messing around on him?, if he already knows or knew and it didn't come from you, then do you think he is trying to get back at her by going out with you? Do you think she will try and fool around with him while you two are together to get back at you?

If you really care about him and he cares about you i dont think you should worry about what she will think or what she will say to be onist with you. if she was a really good friend and you couldnt afford to lose her. Wouldn't she be happy for you?? a true good friend would be happy for you. I can tell you one thing it isnt a good idea to go out with him because she dererves it thats not a good reason.
