To say that Hilary Swank is absolutely DROP-DEAD gorgeous tonight...
I haven't even seen everybody but still she gets my Best Dressed vote!
Sweet personality, good looks, great bod, and Guy La Roche gown...
I don't have enough superlatives for her!

I second that, she has it that's for sure. Just a beautiful women. The dress is beyond georgous, on her it is a 10. What a figure.

(Gotta correct myself, it's Laroche!)
I think Chris Rock did okay, but a standing O? When even
80 year old Sidney Lumet didn't get one? What's up wit dat?
The program as a whole was pretty good but the new stuff
I didn't care for, all the nominees on stage looked too
much like choosing up sides for dodgeball or something.
And the people who got their Oscars in the audience, maybe
they didn't mind but it sure seemed like second-class
citizens to me.
The brief glimpse of Charlize Theron she looked beautiful,
but I would have liked to see more of her, didn't see her
at all on the way in.
Sean Penn may be an acting genius, but I think he could
have shown a tiny bit more respect for the Academy than
his style of dress suggested...
Ah well, over for another year!

And a couple of baby chicks on her head....that "hairdo" looked like chicken down. :-2
Hillary Swank looked great.
Natalie Portman needs to find a new designer.
Melanie Griffith needs to tone down the neon shine on her face - she's wayyyyy too old for that look.
Kirsten Dunst looked fabulous.
Selma Hayek had far too much eye makeup - the "Raccoon look" went out sometime in 1984.
Leo DiCaprio seemed to be channelling Humphrey Bogart in all the right ways - the hair, the tux - yum.
What's up with Johnny Depp???? Geezus - the guy's drop-dead melt-an-iceberg gorgeous and he dresses like a clown. The suit was a great color. Loved the ascot thingie. But it didn't FIT him. Argh.
Orlando Bloom....Swoon ('nuff said).
Cate Blanchett was all one color except for that sash - hair, skin, dress...
Beyonce was simply amazingly gorgeous. Vintage Versace. Wowzers. And that SKIN. Of course, she's, what, twenty-two? Thank goodness her mother didn't dress her again.

And what was up with that dress that Melanie Griffith wore? Was the full length mirror in her house broken or something?!Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought something similar! Smacks
of "trying too hard"!
And Erinna1112, right on on the Natalie Portman bit... she looked drab as
heck and all I kept thinking of when I saw her was "Animal House"!
And did anybody see IDIOT Steven Cojocareu (sorry, Googled it six ways
from sunday and still couldn't get a spelling!!) say that Hilary Swank got
his vote for WORST DRESSED? I had always thought he was kinda fun
before but now he's history for me after that comment...

ROFL...Yeah, that "greek goddess" thing that Natalie Portman tries at all the red-carpet events just isn't her. The headband's GOT to go. Makes her look like she's about twelve.
You had Steven Cojocaru just about right (and I had to look it up too....I googled "today show" and "Fashion editor" to get it).
