Have a favorite quote or two? Let's share them.

One of my favorites is the one I use for my signiture and have no idea to whom to attribute it.

I also like the following and ask forgiveness if my memory is not completly accurate.

C.S. Lewis---When a man begins to prosper he thinks he has found his way in the world, when in reality the world has found its way in him.

Mark Twain---Suppose you are and idiot. Now suppose you are a congressman. But I repeat myself.

Be particular!

I knew an elderly country lady, Nettie, who wore her long hair in a braid pinned up on her head. She would get up early in the morning and piddle around her house and cook great Southern food like fried chicken, mac' and cheese, and twelve-layer chocolate cakes. Mostly, I just loved to listen to her talk about the times when she was a young girl and a young married woman. She was widowed fairly young with six daughters to raise by herself. She did, and never remarried. She would use this phrase as a way to say good-bye to folks. She passed away over twenty years ago and I have used that farwell myself many times over the years. My humble little tribute to Miss Nettie.

Be particular! :)
