You're trying to hotlink to a site which bars hotlinking. A hotlink is what you get when you wrap a URL in IMG tags but you probably get it by pressing a button on the post editor. Anyway, some sites are set to regard you as an uncivil leech if you do that, and the red X is a consequence. You can either shift the picture to an image host like photobucket or you can put the URL into the "manage attachments" upload control, they'll both give you a different way of posting the photo.

That's not normal then. Which pic is it that we're discussing?

Jimbo, there aren't any pictures in this thread... Start at the top left corner and give me a clue how far down and right they are.

I'll try turning them on. Not a thing you often hear me say, that.

It's not whether you're logged into FG, Jimbo, it's whether you're logged into photobucket. Your photobucket account is set to only allow you (meaning Jimbo) to look at your pictures, at a guess. It means that nobody sees the crayons except you when you're logged into the photobucket account. Log into photobucket and change the account permissions to "all the world can see my photos" assuming you can allow that. There's another setting there that says whether they can browse as well as see a single pic from a URL like you put into your sig, maybe "no browsing" would be security enough to stop people from seeing any private ones.
STOP! Scrap all that nonsense, it's nothing of the sort.
The URL in your sig has "1.2.3.10/bmi/" in it. I've no idea why that's there. If you take that out then the URL works and the sig's mended.
