Come on everybody. You know it's Spring when................besides the flowers blooming and the trees, what else tells you that Spring is here.......

the skunk cabbage along the creek bottom shoots out of the ground and turns green.........grass needs mowed........turkey vultures return.

Well out hee in San Diego we went right past spring into summer been in the high 80's close to 100 in some inland areas today. :-6:-6

the grass needs mowing, it's time to plant tobacco here on the farm, and the cows are having babys.:wah::wah:

The snow shovel can be put away, replaced by the lawn mower.

The birds are back, and first thing when you open the door in the morning, you hear songbirds.

The air is warm, the sun shines a little more, and the heart smiles that winter has finally passed again.

It's time to plan for summer vacation!:-6

Around here it's spring when any road that ain't blactop or cement is impassable. And it rains every other day. And farmers are all irratable and short tempered.

The birds (QUAIL) are nesting everywhere.

Baby - tiny baby rabbits are running around - on the Golf Course - too cute..

i'm a farmer who lives on a gravel road, we're lucky that ours is maintained by the state so it's never impassable. but it's been raining every other day it seems.

as for being irratable and short tempered it's just the stress of the season, this is one of our busiest times of the year and there's a lot that has to be done and it's the kind of work that won't wait, when it's time to do it, you'd better do it, if you want a successful season. i myself am never short tempered but i know a few who are!:wah::wah:
