I went to the gas station this morning. While I was waiting for the lady behind the counter to finishing slicing some ham for our bus driver, I saw these cute little pots on the counter, so called 'grinders', so I asked what are these are used to grind she said pot. Well the bus driver and I were very shocked .... so its ok to sell pot grinders at gas stations now ... what next!

Nothing surprises me about what can be found at gas/convenience stores. I worked at one for a few years. The night guy was selling pot. He got caught in the stations restroom engaged in a sex act with two of his female "customers".

I've seen similar devices that are used for garlic cloves. I suspect that's what these are, and somebody has had the idea to market them for a different purpose.

As qsducks noted, all these stores sell rolling papers, so why not? The store down the street from me sells all kinds of crazy looking bongs.

I think the bigger issue is the retailing of a legal carcinogen called "tobacco".

Why would tobacco be a bigger issue than alcohol?

See, that I don't find as so strange because in the UK a fair amount of people do roll their own 'real' cigarettes ... but come to think of if it, you are right, over here I never see anyone rolling their own

Pheasy, I roll my own !! It costs me half the price of 'tailor-mades', and they don't contain nearly as many chemicals. Now if I smoke ready made cigarettes, they just don't have any taste, they last half the time of a roll-up so I would have to buy twice as many cigarettes, to get the same 'value'. But no I just don't like the tailor-made ones. I have been rolling my own for the last 5 or 6 years.

More and more people are in fact rolling their own, for the reasons I have already given. ;)

Why on earth would anyone pay to get a grinder for their pot?

When it's dried the leaves crumble up into nothing really fast

just using your hands...

Better to put it in a bag and crumble it. Haven't done that in years though:wah:
