I just heard the phrase 'grisly scene' on the news, and it occurred to me that would be a great name for a bar.
The Grizzly Scene could have live music and dancing, and could cater to the country/western crowd, bikers, or probably several other demographics, depending on how it's marketed.
There would be a mounted namesake grizzly bear in a glass case either in the entryway or (if it's a big place) in the center of the dance floor. Of course the motif would be rustic: lots of rough wood, bear traps, etc. A fun, low-brow place to knock back a few beers.
Can you think of a good name or theme for an enterprise? Doesn't have to be a bar. It could be a fashion boutique, pet store, or anything else that comes to mind.

Bear lair, or if it's a strip joint, bare lair.

I would find those to be offensive.
Why name an establishment after an animal, then "honour" it by placing a dead specimen there, and the paraphenalia used to kill it?
Grisly, indeed.

I'll never understand the 'critter-hugger syndrome'.

Then you would definitely not be in the target demographic. I would recommend you find a different venue. A nice jazz bar, perhaps.

That works. :-6 They could have domestic pets to feed while eating. Rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. Install a huge 'run' the length of one wall, with tables or booths set within reach. I would imagine that would be very relaxing, to share your salad with a cute bunny.
Of course, sharing a meal with a bunny has been done before, but just a bit different.
