Why is some people do not wear clothes that fit correctly? You know some wear clothes that are obviously to small or to big.

While at Wal-mart tonight, a lady came down the aisle toward me, and you couldn't help to see something you don't want to see. Her pants were extremely tight, and hiked up really high. They were not denim either, but the stretchy material, so I'll let your imagination loose for the rest of the description.

I've never understood this. I had a friend who were her jeans a couple sizes to small. And even though I would suggest a larger size when we went shopping together, she would buy the smaller size.

We like to imagine that we are just slightly over the size we wish to be and that we can 'squeeze' by in that smaller size without anyone else being the wiser.

We also buy clothes that actually fit us when we buy them. We then refuse to go up a size after gaining weight because we are quite sure we will be back down to this size in very short order.

Ok I've been guilty of squeezing into a smaller size pants. But I either wore a large t-shirt to cover the muffin top or pulled the pre-maternity pants trick, rubberband the button. But I would think to wear pants so tight, that a camel toe was obvious at 10 paces would be uncomfortable.

better to wear the right size obviously. Much more flattering.

Could be simple things like being "inbetween sizes"

Ive not long had a baby so most of my clothes are either maternity (so not that flattering) or my pre-pregnancy ones are still a bit small. It hardly seems worth buying a whole new wardrobe of clothes in the size i am now when i'll probably only get a few weeks wear out of them (i hope)

Also the craze here is for all sized women and kids to wear low hung jeans showing their thong and are so tight their back and belly all splodges over the sides and dont even get me started on the stretch marks on show

I couldn't help but notice that so far all the comments have been about the sizes being too small for the person, my beef is those that have a plumber wannabe phobia! Their pants are better than half way down their usually unadorable butts, if you are somewhat lucky they have boxers on, and I've even seen that combo with one pant leg rolled up to the knee. But then I grew up in the 50's and am still having a problem with ball caps facing the wrong way. But don't panic, I've been pondering these things for some thyme now and I think I'm getting a glimpse into things, unfortunately it's usually thru someone's "backdoor"! :wah: Well this is how I got it figgered! #1, Parents no longer teach their children how to dress themselves #2 Some have an incontinence issue and so this way the trousers are already 1/2 way down before the bathroom rush, but they should be asking for nurse's assistance, #3 Can't afford the fee of a tanning bed to get those hard to reach areas where the sun don't shine tanned to match the rest of their unadorable bodies #4 They took their clothes off on the other side of the room the night before and thats why they are facing the wrong direction #5 they may be full fledge, 100% purebred idiots :-5

On the other hand, I also have an issue with Big Women! NOW WAIT A MINUTE AND FINISH READING! I really get upset when women of larger proportions feel they can not go out to the beach in a bikini, or go out for the evening in a short skirt, or not wear whatever because ... someone or someones who think they are God will belittle them (no pun intended) because they have already chosen who can and who can't be attracttive dew to size, shape, or age. As the song says "I like big butts and I cannot lie" Personally I think larger women have just as much if not more sex appeal than those that think they are so "IT". Who gave anyone the right to decide who is sexy based on weight alone? But plaese, I'm old and set in my ways, so if I want to see your knickers or your butt, I'll just ask in a polite way, maybe over a glass of wine with dinner. I would love to hear your individual views on this, I'm sure we can all dew soo w/o insult or injury to anyone. Thank you!
