I was truly flattered when many of you believed that I actually walked down the street in the buff....... Also surprised, and I didnt know how to get out of it. I was trying to make you all laugh. Considering that I truly believed that my profile here has been conservative, I really thought you would know I was fooling. Actually, these days, Im not too thrilled about being naked even in front of only me. Ive been trying to spend my time with my older son

who left this morning to go back to New York. He has been here, in Virginia for 12 years, and has pretty much loathed every minute of it. He entered an accelerated masters degree program. Im very proud of him, but Im really going to miss him. He will be a teacher by February. Elementary school level, and he wants to teach inner city school kids. Ive been amusing myself up here in my tree house apartment. Working outside during the day, and a couple of nights a week. Ill have to start a thread and tell you all about L- Tryptophan, an amino acid that I have been taking for depression. Im not singing, or dancing, in the street.... but my mood, in general, is definately improved. It was really nice to see a thread inquiring about me. Quite a surprise, and very much appreciated. There is a little part of that woman I met two years ago that would have had the guts to walk down the main street naked, well in my opinion anyway! :wah:

Mike is up to my chin now and moves onto secondary school this year. Meg is at school full time and doing well, a little bit shy sometimes but 6 going on 36 most of the time! :rolleyes:

Believe me... better to have them be adult and move away, then to have to worry about them being irresponsible, and never wanting to go. When so much of our identitys, for so long... has been being MOM, it is very difficult to not feel like our time is over. That concept is one of the multiple issues that often contribute to my depression. I think I am getting a handle on it though.

Hehehe oh and I actually thought that you had done that weeder, I must admit I was shocked when I heard about it! :wah:

I blame the media. Pasty skin and a flat butt used to be considered sexy by some ... I'm guessing.
