I've been unemployed and it turned out alright. Ive been poor and it turned out alright. I guess as long as my beloved and I have our minds and each other, things will be just fine.

Same as others really, just a happy and healthy family, and preferably something fun or interesting to keep my mind entertained or informed, because I can sometimes bore myself into a sleep!

For me, after doing an honest day's work, my bills are getting paid, having a home and food to eat, knowing my family is doing fine, ...going to bed at night with my hubby sleeping beside me.

Knowing my family are safe & well.
I feel great satisfaction when I come home from work & know I have done my best to help our special needs kids.
Feeling happy in the fact that all I have done & own has been achieved by the way my parents taught us to have the values in life that would always get us through good & rough times.

Everything's ok with me as long as I feel comfortable with the people around me and comfortable with the place that I'm in at the time. For example, went to a get-together dinner with some rellys and their friends. Somehow I was stuck sitting under the big screen tv and everyone piled in to watch a big tennis match. It seemed that everyone was lookin at me because I was sitting under the tv:wah::wah:
wtf says I

this was supposed to be a friendly dinner with lots of chat..
Finally maneuvered my way out of the chair and near family members that I could talk to. I was missing all the conversation from my niece Karen and her new hubby and wanted to hear all about their honeymoon in France.
We all sneaked out and took a long walk along the beach and chatted away about their honeymoonand the glories of France.
That's when I feel comfortable:p

I think everybody feels somewhat the same way...
The group hit on Love, Health, and Financial Security for them and their immediate family as the three main items of what makes things Allright.
There were other things but all seemed to flow back to those.
I have to add being Spiritually directed to the list, for me I need a purpose. For me even though Love, health and tangeable security make most things all right, if I don't have a direction, some movement I dont feel that all of those basics corrolate to a satisfaction or contentment.
being a new mom my first thought went to my baby and having a nap!:wah::wah:
but i agree that being spiritually directed is also very important, it does gives you a sense of direction and for me a certain peace that i don't think i could acheive any other way!
