Ah Florida----in addition to the above, Tampa & my first true love, Cuban sandwiches, deviled crab 60 cents a dozen, U. of Tampa, sleeping on the beach at Clearwater, Ybor City, dancing at the Coliseum in St. Pete till 3 AM to Cuban Bands, Mambo, Hava Tampa cigars with wood tips, oh to be 20 again.

Tampa will always have my heart, damnable as the place is. Lon described it well, minus the cigars.

I'll always remember deplaning at the airport in Tampa. As I walked out of the cabin into the Florida May sunshine I was sure that there was someone standing on the plane pouring a bucket of wetness on me. Felt like I had just walked into a suana. 160 years old. Congratulations Florida.
