Our summer officially begins here in a couple of days on the 21st! :-6



What are some of your favorite things to do in warm weather?

It involves beer, a naked lady and lilac bushes. That's all I'm saying.

Living on a farm this is usually our work season, and is our busiest time of year!

so i've never had one of those lazy summers of sunbathing, going to the pool or the beach or just doing nothing!

:wah::wah: all the daylight ours are nice, but with me it just means more hours i have to be outside working!

I'm not crazy about summer....ours are regularly 110-126 degrees. But I do like to have a cool shower in the evening and pile my freshly washed hair on top of my head to air dry and slip into a lightweight t-shirt or cotton nightgown and sit at the computer with a glass of 7-Up or some other cola in a chilled wine glass. Listening to some Miles Davis. That means my day is over, I'm mellowed and all those things combined are just nice little luxuries.

that sounds great! one of my favorite things has always been at the end of the day after my bath, i put on my nightgown and curl up on the couch in front of the tv with a really good movie and a glass of cola of some kind and something chocolate! that's alway been my way of relaxing, :-6

that's why I've loved living in the southern half for so long. It's always hot/warm! :-6

Yeah i love hot weather so much, i don't think i'd be happy living anywhere but the south!:-6

Getting into a cool shower after a hot, humid day. Getting my summer jammie shorts on and a t-shirt adn flopping on the bed and watching a good tv/movie.:-4

Today is our longest day so as from tomorrow the nights will start drawing in again .

It's tipping down here today and forecast the same again for tomorrow, no beach for me this weekend :-1

Oh, I can do the couch thing too. The benefits of having 4 tvs in the house, except I wouldn't be caught dead relaxing in my teenage boy's room. Too stinky.
