I hate to ask.......but can anyone tell me when Mothers day (US) is?
The reason I'm asking, is in the UK, Mothers day is in March. This Sunday as a matter of fact. Yes I have picked up my mother a card, but my calender doesnt show american holidays, and being as I'm being a lazy cow at the moment, I thought I would ask you guys first. :-6

Thanks so much! Just marked it on the calender! LOL! My mother thinks its a hoot to get cards that say 'mum'! But because mothers day in england is in march, I have had to get her cards a couple of months early, second year running now.

Mother's Day is kind of hard for me now. My mom passed away three years ago and I surely do miss her. My children are all grown now, but live far away from me-as well as my two grandaughters. My first child died in infancy thirty years ago a week before Mothers Day of that year.
I count my blessings and cherish my memories.
So, hug your moms, your children, and grandchildren while they are near to you. And don't wait for Mothers Day to do it.

I almost lost mine too.
She had breast cancer. But I DO still have her.
You still have yours too. She lives on, through you. :yh_flower

AFTR, I "lost" my mommy to Alzheimer's so she doesn't know when Mother's
Day is any more... but every time I talk to her, I tell her she is the best
mommy in the whole wide world. And I tell her how much I love her. I
think she understands that at least... I did tell her those things before
her Alzheimer's, but there is a part of me now that wishes I could have
done much more!
So people, do say it now if you can. You'll be glad you did.
