As someone who doesn't like to wear a bra at all (although I do for the sake of "propriety") I'm wondering if it is better to go au naturel than to wear the damned things!
If im slobbing round my house I like to swing free but id never ever leave the house braless, id not feel right letting them jiggle about like two ferrets in a bag, plus I like my eyes blue and not black:D:D
Also I never buy cheap bras, I always buy a good hammock:rolleyes:

I don't buy that stuff...they come out with that bra story about every three years. Meanwhile, all these beautiful African women who run around shirtless with natural (read: not Playboy perky) breasts don't seem to be having this sort of problem.

I've only worn sports bras since my early 20's. There are really cute ones you can get and they're super comfy. I HATE regular bras!

I think that as one gets older and gets the normal aches and pains it is easier to wear ones that "do up" at the front and if the BBC dont agree with that the article must have been written by a man or not so old woman:sneaky::-5

I've never understood how woman wear underwires...they are the most uncomfortable things I ever tried.
They are until you get used to them. They're far more supportive (I think) than no wires. They give a nice shape to us um...*coff* larger ladies.

Don't get me started on the cost of them! I have a small back and require a DD cup, they are hard to find. Most shops do a good range of the d cups nowadays but it is rare to find a 32DD off the rack that fits me. Minimum of around £40 for me and I generally have to get a local shop to order them in for me.

All you lucky sods with B and C cups, you can go out and buy bras for $7.95 at Kmart, Target, anywhere! Stores don't even stock my size - I have to order them in specially! And at $70 a pop! Before I fell pregnant I was an off-the-rack DD. Now I'm a G. A G!! I didn't even know bras went that high before I was fitted. I let my doggies out, my back goes out with them!
I can't even remember what it feels like to run anymore, it's just impossible now. And I haven't seen my toes for over 12 months. As for making bras out of plastic bags, I'd have to use wheelie bin liners!
Someone please tell me they go back to normal when you cease breastfeeding.
sorry i can't help you there, i didn't breastfeed!

They might go back to regular or close to it. They usually do because the milk dries up and you don't get so engorged. It'll get better but it's hard to know just how much better.
