i for one welcome you here, and would direct you to a recent thread by Babyrider called "thank a veteran". many here appreciate veterans' sacrifices. my sister's son just did a year in iraq as a Marine. and i remember when the vets returned from Vietnam. :-1

My former SO (and still good friend) was a door gunner in Vietnam.

My dad is a vet, my grandfather is a vet, and my cousin is making a career out of the service. He's been in for almost 20 years. I'm proud of all of them, and I thank you. Hope to see you back in FG again. :yh_flag :yh_peace

I just rented a studio at my home to a 23 yr. old Marine Sgt. now getting out. Had two deployments' in Iraq!
A real nice kid God Bless him.
Now want's to start surfing again. .....meaning in the ocean on a surfboard.
He's lost 25 percent of his hearing.......was in Tanks!
