My husband controls the remote, and has this rote list of shows always on in the background. Nice, quiet shows:

Yoga-the lady with the ocean background

Quilt Making-with these crafty ladies, could be anyone's grandmother

Painting-with that Bob Ross guy

It is his background ambiance, a nice quiet day unfolds with the TV is on. Do you have any interesting shows you put on, just to have the set on?

Yes, but mine are a little louder. Starts with action news, GMA, Regis & Kelly, Rachel Ray & The View.

Yes, he passed away. One of my college students actually did a report on him last spring, it was very interesting.

Hubby is in control of the remote. He has some kind of oldies music playing. I call it elevator music but my parrot likes it and she whistles along to the songs :wah:

Hi Accountable,

I constantly have the radio turned on the talk shows 24/7. I LOVE listening to the radio. Unfortunately, I can't stand WOR and WABC....the only 2 talk shows in my area...... anymore. They're very conservative and I just can't stand listening to the yell anymore.....yukky..... All they do is dis the other local political party:-5

So now I only listen to Joan Hamburg, Dr. Joy and Michael Collemeco who talk about consumer reporting and food.

Do you listen to anyone interesting? Maybe I could pick up a station on the net.
