After a difficult couple of days of worry over her Mum's operation (see Scarey Day thread for update), I think Betty would benefit from some encouragement from us all.

Betty's Mum had a four hour operation yesterday morning to remove the tumour. Post-op she spent some time in Intensive Care and was then being moved to High Dependency. As of last night, when Betty rang me, her Mum was beginning to come around from the anaesthetic and the surgeon was pleased with her progress so far.
