I'm glad I found this place. My local message board is dying. It was thriving until more and more restrictions came about and pretty much killed it. This place and people are fun.

Thats very true but Jimbo is only intersted in following me around to bait me . This thread is nothing to do with him as was my other one (about the cows) . He only came into it to make fun of it and to cause trouble and take it off topic.

I'm not logged in 24/7 nor do I come here at night and barely on weekends to post because my RL is too busy. For me, it's important to spend quality time with my family. I couldn't do that if I were logged in here and posting 24/7.
I agree with you there, its very rare for me to pop in here at night times .
I have heard a couple of people mention that their home/family life began to suffer because they were addicted to this place (that i don't understand ) and they were spending far to much time here (their words not mine) .

I post from work when there is time. If I am real busy at work, then no posting and just read when time permits. I rarely get on in the evenings or over weekends as I am busy with real life and family.

It may show me here 24/7 but I'm not. Just never log off. I'm usually at my computer for short amount of times during the day, and I'll read what interests me.

I don't log in and out of FG. I don't know what it shows on here when my computer is off. But, if being online 24 hours a day helped me or anyone else to survive this often crazy world, I'd say go for it.

I agree if it helps them there's nothing wrong with having fun but earning a living has to take priority ...theres nothing more important .

Pantsonfire-----Don't let it get to you.....Lifes too short. Just let him or anyone/anything else that bothers you just "Roll right off your shoulder".
You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. And sometimes after a dose or two of honey they chose to move elsewhere.
BTW-To answer your question.......I do most of my posting from work. I am fortunate to have a boss/job that allows it during down times.

I'm disabled and can't do too much at a time, so sitting here talking with friends helps make my day a little brighter. :-6 I'm not on late most nights and very rarely on the weekend.

I thought this was the joy of Jimbo. :wah: He always makes fun of things but I've only ever seen him make fun as in fun, not as in hurtful. And I don't think I've ever seen a thread which hasn't diverted off at a tangent. I think with such a friendly, chatty bunch it's impossible not to stray from the main topic. :wah:
Personally I'm on here cos its the summer hols. Come September I'll be back at school and you prob. won't see me until the Christmas and Easter hols, so I have to getlots of chatting in now! :wah:

I think I'll start a new thread................."The Joy of Jimbo.":)

I can't make anyone feel anything that isn't inside themselves already.
It was a simple question, how could i of know how people would answer . No one is forced to reply to something, they do it of their own free will ..if people are feeling guilty for being online thats their problem not mine ...actually why would a person feel guilty for being online

.
I've also just had a look back an noticed someone else started the same kind of thread some time ago and no one got out their pram then.:-5:-5

Nothing here gets to me, i may speak up but when i log off i forget all about this place.
People here seem to forget NO ONE is forced to reply to something.
I prefer to go online and come here early mornings when the house is quite ....with regard to the invisibility mode, it can only be used if your a supporting member:-6
CP, thanks for the reply .
Take care
