Anyone know a good site that will allow you to do a reverse email look up. I want to find out who is the person behind a certain hotmail id.

Hi Sheryl,

Hate to tell you this - but you won't find any real information. Even Microsoft admits that the vast majority of hotmail account holders sign-up anonymously. (They use fake information.) In addition, email providers worth their salt (like smileglobal.com) never divulge private information.

Check out this link though - if you want to play around with it:

Thanks Tombstone,

I'll have to go browse around that site later.

I found some E-mails of relatives and they were old E-mail adresses.

Not sure where I found this info but it may have been the phone companies website.

I only have one account that I use much and I keep it as private as possiable.

Only my wife and a few co-workers have it.

Ok ok my husband had an affair on me in 2003. And I found out part of it by his yahoo account. The other day I found a login id to MSN that I could not link to any friends or family who use our computers.

So I was just wanting to make sure no new id's had been created. It was silly of me, but I'm having hard time trusting now.

Hope that cures some folks curiousity(sp).

:)

Wow Sheryl, I'm sorry. That's a bi*ch isn't it?

I don't think you're silly at all. It's hard to rebuild trust that has been destroyed. Been there, done that.

(Feeling kinda crappy about the curiosity now... :yh_blush )
