I seem to have acquired a resident toad! (No, I'm not being derogatory to the other half, lol!) I keep finding this toad just inside my kitchen door every afternoon and the bizarre thing is, I have no idea how he's getting in!:-3

The only thing I can think of is that he has a bloody good aim at the catflap, but it seems pretty unlikely. I first saw him when I pulled the shed down a few days ago and burnt it, depriving the poor toad of his hideaway I guess.

Still, he's huge and I really don't think the corner of my kitchen is the best place for him...he seriously doesn't want to meet my monster cat! I guess it wouldn't hurt to think of a name for him in the meantime though.:-3

Do you think he's a former Prince?? and maybe you should kiss him???:D

I had a big toad that used to hang out on my front porch everynight for a summer, we'd go out and talk to him like he was a friendly neighbor!:wah:

In honour of an animal of whom you’re justly proud,

For it’s Toad’s- great- day!

Darwin, Ichabod... might prefer a toad house outside... you can make one out of an old clay flowerpot by knocking out a half-moon shape on the top rim of the flowerpot as a door and flipping it topside down out in the garden... he'd likely prefer to be placed near some water that he can access.
