this might be something i might live to regret posting but here goes:D

there is nothing that really gets on my nerves like a young guy hippie that has never been near a old guy real hippie talking like he is a dirty hippie, i have had a few lads work helping me out on jobs before and they have kept talking like they is from Woodstock, New York "free love, man" it usually ended up with me giving them a dead leg and telling them to take a bath,the thing is as soon as you took them home and their parents were there they threw out the patchouli and cleaned up again as far as i can make out its to do with "Hippie-Jon Lennon" music does it get on your nerves or am i being a fuddy duddy hippie hater

I'm one of the lost generation-post hippie and pre punk. The beige generation that thought austin allegros were cool and couldn't see the point of electronic calculators- when I could so sums quicker in my head-and digital watches were just a gimmick. (still hate them)

My personal favorite was when I was in high school and people went to dead head concerts and acted like they "understood" the vibe. I dont pretend to know any of that *****, I was born in 1977.

I do however, understand and remember G.L.O.W.

I like hippies myself old and young unless they're just wannabes. I even own some of the right clothes but don't tell anyone.

I consider myself a hippy but in spirit only. I wasn't a "real" hippy but I do dress different than the average female and I'm a free spirit, so I dunno...what other people do or think doesn't really bother me. :-6 Peace! :yh_peace :wah:
