My Uncle called Mum today,

He told her that the paint on the inside of the microwave had started to peel,

his wife in her infinate wisdom decided to paint it..... wtf???

Wait there's more, she then decided to turn it on to dry the paint and set fire to the kitchen!

I think peeling paint means it's time to buy a new one!

I've heard that you can tell when your microwave is leaking waves by playing a radio in front of it when its on. The leaking waves will cause the radio to give out lots of static noise instead of playing music. Worth a try.

Luckily the fire alarms worked!

Unluckily it was pouring with rain at the time and everyone got soaked! :-5

You can buy a microwave tester for a couple of pounds - run it round the seal and it lights up if there's a leak.

If in doubt test it or replace it.
