I can hardly wait until cocktails at 5 PM. It's been just an awful day. First the maid quit this morning and the butler followed shortly thereafter, then I misplaced my Rolex. If that wasn't bad enough, when I got in the Benz to go to the Club the damn thing wouldn't start. Then, the pool service didn't show up as scheduled and the algae in the pool is just disgusting. It will probably just be my luck that the ice maker is broken and I will have to drink a luke warm martini. Oh ------- it could be worse I guess.

If the maid and the butler quit on the same day theres something youre holding back. What happened in your house Lon ?

Also why was the pool allowed to go for so long that algae is showing up ?

I do hope you arent forced to drink a warm martini, after your day that would be enough to make a guy scream.

OK-----First, I caught the maid and the butler in the wine cellar drinking my favorite Mateurer Fume Blanc 1937. She was nude except for her apron, and he, well, I just can't continue. The pool??? The pool people have not come for over a month despite my repeated calls to them, and thus, algae. And now since my last post I have discovered that I am all out of my favorite Bombay Gin and will probably have to drink that nasty Gordon's swill.

I settled for a glass of $9.99 wine and I actually had a lovely day on the beach at my vacation home, my Jag did start right up and the lawn guy showed up on time to winterize the irrigation system.

And then I starting reading the political forum and the day went to hell.

Jet?? Now that's another thing gone wrong. I need one of the engines replaced and it's going to cost some big bucks and I will no doubt have to take a commercial flight to NZ this November. I hate having to board with such riff raff.

Must be tough sitting in coach.
