“It seems some MMA websites have reported on the story, posting up that I might die out in the desert, or that it might be my greatest opponent yet, etc. Come on guys. This isn't a version of "Into the Wild". I'm not going out into the desert with a pair of shorts and a bowie knife, to try to live off the land. I'm going fully geared up, and I'm planning on having some fun.


Geez....what's the word I'm thinking of? Predestination? Preordination? Whichever, that's a chilly thing to read.

I wonder how fully prepared he was. The desert can kill you if you don't come prepared. What a sad thing this is.

You cant just drive off into the desert on a motorcycle. Most bikes only hold about 4-5 gallons of gas. I hit my reserve tank after only 120.0 miles. That leaves me 1 gl. and about 45 miles to get to a station.

Egregious error.
