I saw greta last night and even Gloria Allred agreed that there is a possiblity however so slim in her eyes of a reversal of error. Meaning the conviction can be vacated and a new trail can take place. I don't about you people, but I don't know if I can take anymore. How about you? :-5 This is how I feel about another Scott peterson trail. Although I do think he deserves one, weather he is guilty or not.

The petition to appeal the decison by the jury.

1. being the jurors in the boat, even Glroia Allred feels that his conviction can be over turned simply because jurors were allowed to experiment with the boat. In the Gergo's petition they have a transscipted of one of the jurors talking about them experimenting with the baot on Greta on Dec 14, 2004. The day after the death penalty was announced. Gloria ALlred is amber Fryes Attoney, and frankly does not like Scott Peterson, very much.

2. The dog snuffing evidence, they believe because it as not been in a lot of court decision, and it's scientific and not hard cor facts, it should not have been allowed in.

3. Speaking about Hard cor, they also believe the jury was prejudice about because on January 12 2003, he order porn on his cable. Then canceled the porn because he told the cable company he was out of town.

4.They also believe the jury was predjiice about Scott being on the run. See Scott at the time was not under arrestest, and he did no about the police warrent out for him. SO how can he flying from cops.

5.And of corse the imfamous Juror no. 5. How can we forget Justin Falconer. He was also named in the position, They believed he should have not been removed. And problems they had with that guy Jackson(Not Micheal ah ah) and the relieveing a juror during deliberation's.

stay tuned to wed. The judge may say death. But there all punch issues on appeal.and in California the death penalty gets racked over the coles in the appealette prosses. Wednesday is the sentencing date.

this is just another geragos motion to delay...he wants to delay the sentencing because he knows scott's happy little butt is going directly to San Q after sentence is imposed. and it's not going to be pretty. his motion for a new trial contains a lot of the usual geragos hooey. as for judicial error, that's a subject for appeals down the road, not for this motion. and judicial errors do not necessarily ensure an appeals success, it can be deemed HARMLESS error.

Well you know your right, just because there is some motion's on the table doesn't mean it's going to happen. But California is known to be easy.

You know you guys maybe are all wrong. He could be innocent. But reguardless, there is a prosses for both the defendent and a prossecuter . He they must follow the rules. All of us, if we were on trail would want a fair one. RIGHT> Scott peterson being jerk and cad, and he is he still deserves a fair trail.

(TRIAL. not TRAIL.). in DP cases the judge bends over backwards to give the defense every leeway and grant every motion , to preserve the record and reduce any possible appeals issues. the judge did a superb job of safeguarding peterson's rights throughout. and he IS guilty. he was found guilty by a jury, that makes him GUILTY in this country. did you read any of the trial transcripts or evidence? he will be sentenced tomorrow, and after that his attorneys can file all the appeals they want until he turns 86 on death row. but the ONLY basis for appeals, contrary to popular opinion, is errors in the law and the record, NOT because someone doesn't like some of the methods used at trial. the time to object to that stuff is forever barred and over. ONLY COMPELLING new evidence could warrant a new trial, and harmless error in the record isn't going to cut it. bye-bye scooter....and if by some freak happening the judge does not impose death, he's still going away forever. just maybe not San Q. but this judge is not going to go against the jury recommendation.

Lady cop, ok, if the Gloria Allred( you know here you live california) starts saying on a scale 1-10 and she give it 6 . and every talking head on televison starts saying there is room for reversable error. then you know that possibilty excist that he might get his conviction over tourned. maybe not tomarrow, But you know that 9th circut of appeals over there have know problems with throwing out death penalty cases. You know that is possible that Scott Peterson, being guilty or not will have his appeals, and may get a new trail.

i live in california? i do listen to the pundits, and even better, THINK FOR MYSELF!....i've been in the criminal justice system for many years and used to teach law. ... of course he'll have appeals. endless appeals. and he DID have a fair trial. as for gloria...never saw a high profile ambulance she didn't chase.

You may not like the idea, that I don't believe in my whole heart that this man is guilty. I respect your opions, and I hope you respect mine. If someday down the rode, they prove it. then I will be glad to take I told you so's. But i bet someday we will find out that he didn't do it.

I feel very sad for the Rocha's, but they believe Scott is guilt, I feel their pain. But even if he is a cad and well A- like nichelle said( she called him that under her breath at the live news conference it was autoable. )I believe he is cocky and spoiled. I agree with everything except for the fact I don't believe he is guilty. You guys are spirited debaters. And I hope we can debate again.

There is nothing cool, about the death Sentence. There nothing coll about any of this. Except maybe the media

I agree Peterson is a pig and he got a fair trial. I disagree that this case should have made national/international news. This was a LOCAL NEWS story, in my opinion and was sensationalized to the point of being a ridiculous circus, feeding media whores from one end of the spectrum to the other. I guarantee if Peterson and Lacy were working class Blacks living in some boring RedState this crime would never have claimed all the primetime it has. KC has had 20 murders this year alone, some were children. I believe explosive media saturation of hard crime should end. It encourages people like Peterson, the BTK killer, Son of Sam, etc.

On a slightly different note, are you aware that the #1 cause of death among pregnant women in this country is murder? Not complications or anything else quite so "benign", but MURDER. Usually by the father of the child.

I could care less about the "sensationalism", I can always turn off the TV or put down my newspaper.

When you die..everything is expelled from your body - weather it be urine, feces, or what ever - it comes out by the pressure of the release of oxygen..inturn the baby was probably inutero and was pushed out after her death-- I never read that the cord had been cut - infact they stated they still do not know weather the baby was alive or dead when it was born...the theory states...she was killed and after being in the water the baby was expelled from her body by the death and with the waves and water motion of course Conner would not be by her...The man was running with how many $10000's of dollars, a fake ID, and a new car that his monny put in her name so no one would know it was him..PLEASE!! If ya get a chance read - Blood Brother... To many things add up -hmmmmm and plus he is a liar and a cheat - who not only stole a human life - but a baby.. I certainly hope he gets some time outside his little cage at San Q. and is murdered just like Jeffery Dahmer... :sneaky:
