Some of you may remember that quite a time ago I asked for prayers for my friends son who had been diagnosed with cancer, then a few months back we thought that there was good news with new chemotherapy.
Sadly a few days ago he died and today was his funeral. It was a beautiful ceremony. We all stood and sang Queen songs, we shared laughter and tears, and smiled as we paid tribute to an outstanding young man who suffered but never complained.
He was only 17, far too young but he died knowing how much he was loved.
I don't need any replies for this thread, but if you would care to pray or send beams for his family I thank you.
God bless Rich.

The hardest thing for me was seeing his grandad, you shouldn't outlive your kids let alone your grandkids, it's just all wrong.
Cancer is so cruel.

You are so right, my cousin died at 23 after being ill since 15, cancer took my Grandad when he was 41 (I never met him), my Mum has had 2 different types of cancer but is in remission thank god, whoever you meet in life the chances are cancer has touched them in some way.

Every time that I think life is crap I just have to come here to realise that it isn't.
Each and every one of you - thanks, for the love, the compassion and the generosity in thinking of a family you have not and probably will not ever meet.
