Rocketman flies in the skies

A 48-year-old Swiss man has successfully jumped out of a plane over the Alps using a new improved version of his jet propelled hang-glider.

Yves Rossy has spent five years training for the event and was helped by four jet engines.

Wow, soon we wont need to book seats on a plane, we could fly ourselves.

Really neat, but I don't think I would be ready to try it myself just yet!!

My 8 yr old daughter jus watched it with me and hubs and asked if she could try it on Sunday:wah:

They just had this on the news, that was really cool!

I think its brilliant, thats what we need a bit more of around here, some actually inspiring people pushing things to the limit to expand human achievement. Good on you, you mentalist. :-6
