Monday's collection day

Bang go the bins

That's when Sinny garbos

Cart away our sins

Beer cans and smoke packs

And little fishy tins

:D

I get along with ours. One is my daughter's baseball coach and the other one's son goes to school with my kids. No probs and they always take my stuff and are very friendly.

I tip them at Christmas as they are very nice gentlemen. They also take stuff that normally can't go out for regular trash like furniture. We usually have to wait for bulk trash day which I hate. That's when everybody puts their crap out and people go through it. Yuck. I just call them up and it's never a problem.:)

No problem at all. He is a one man operation. Pulls up in a big truck, moves a lever in his cab that puts a retrival arm out to snare my big bin which then lifts in into his truck and off he goes.

We had a few issues with ours when the plastic bin bags were first replaced with wheely bins..... they 'had' to have a closed lid and 'had' to be placed right at the bottom of our drives so that the bin men had easy access.... once we got used to the new 'rules' though and the binmen had nothing more to complain about LOL.... we all get along OK... they do their job, we do ours.. s'all good :)

I was watching our "dustman" the other day. Hes an older guy that walks with a limp and he works hard. Id never thought about him before and I can only imagine what its like to do that job.

I made a mental note to give him a nice tip over the holiday's.
