The Oscar Household is in residence for the next few days. Builders are in and right now my kitchen is gutted. No cooker or washing machine. All we have is a microwave with the rest of the kitchen piled up in the lounge.

The bathroom is in the dogs room and hall.

In a few hours, they will be arriving to rip out the bath, sink and toilet.

When thats all done, out comes all the radiators and boiler.

I have spent hours on Fg today, some great topics and i am so thrilled that thanks to Ian, i managed to overcome my technophobia and get some pics on FG.

I have just been out in the field with food for the foxes. The mum is still lame. I don't know what i can do for her.

Off to bed for 4 hours now until it all starts again.

Boring stuff i know.

What are you all doing?

I am answering phone calls,eating smarties.

resting up & reading back on FG,trying to catch up for the past week.

I am going to work waitressing at 6pm.

I am on school holidays as well.:-6

Watching a tie game between the Boston Red Sox & the LA Angels in the baseball playoffs. Ate some Ben & Jerry's Fish Food ice cream, went to Applebee's for lunch. Yum, had a super moist burger with fries.:-4 Smoking a cig & having a cold one.

Today is truely awful.

I have been crabby to other FG members. I am just so tired.

I have nothing in my kitchen at all now.

The new bath and loo is in but yet to be plumbed in.

My three dogs are shut away in a side garden crying which i hate. The workmen need to keep opening the gate in and out, so it's safer round there for them.

My cats are stuck in here with me in our bedroom.

We have no water although Mr Oscar filled a reserve this morning.

I have no sink and can not even wash my hands.

There is dust everywhere.

They are drilling right now.

My doc's appointment is running 3 hrs late due to an emergency which i don't mind.

I'm talking rubbish to gmc and galbally (swoon) :-4

I can't find anything in the house,

I have just been told that for the next two days, it's the electricians turn. No hi fi, no kettle, nothing.

But apart from that, i'm just bloody dandy.

How are all of you?

My Doc has given me my sedatives, and i just dropped two so i will sleep.

A very nice Community Support police Officer popped in to say Hi. Good God, what next? They will be policing our streets..

I have played my favourite song from the new "Verve" album, called Valium Skies three times.

Mr Oscar says i can order my favourite King Prawn Indian Curry.

The water is back on.

Dogs out the yard.

Cats inside house.

I have a lovely cup of tea.

I have my Daily Mail.

I'm chilled.

All i need is Horatio now

I am back from my trip, washed all my clothes, started on the house (kids did a really good job holding down the fort) and lots of papers to grade tonight.

Go to sleep, and dream of summer vacation tonight......

just reinstalled my printer,got new free antivirus,drinking coffee,listening to meltdown news re finances.and trying to decide if its cold enough to put the electric blanket on ...by the way oscar,when you had such a bad day why the hell did you chose to read the dreadfull daily mail??????

Today, no electric here and there. Managed to get on Fg in short bursts.

The real drilling began-- oh my! Thank the person who invented wax ear plugs.

Went back to bed.

Started off with 3 workman, up to 6 in here today.

Going out tonight to help some Mulsim friends who are short staffed, just for a few hours. The bosses wife has just mis-carried her baby and is in a dreadfull state. I'm thinking of what i can say to help her.

The cats are terified by all the drilling and noise.

The dogs just don't care, they wanna play ball.

It's hammering with rain and getting colder.

Lost her keys on Friday night while out partying. Had to call AAA, get the car towed to our house. Locksmith says we need to get a new ignition for it. That was $145 Called Ford & ordered the new ignition and that was $225, now have to have locksmith back out on Thursday to install new ignition and that will be another $$$. Annoyed with daughter would be an understatement:mad:
