I got this from my daughter in law this AM and wanted to share. They are living in MO where my son, Robby is serving in the Air Force. He is a mechanic on the B-2 Bomber. They both are taking full credits at college and raising 2 great kids......... All I can say is wow!!

Dakota's first Dentist Appointment.
Dakota had her very first dentist appointment Wednesday! What a big girl she is! She was so excited. I came and picked her up from school after my classes and she was so excited to go since she had been the previous week to my appointment and received all kinds of attention from the hygienist and dentist and receptionist. She even got to pick out a treasure from the treasure chest (but Mommy sure didn’t! all I got was floss and a new tooth brush!)
It was as we were walking in holding hands that she realized that we were there for HER not me. She was no longer so excited after that! She kept insisting that I was wrong and that it was NOT Kody’s turn. It was Mommy’s turn! When we got into the waiting room she ran to the toys and started to play and said “I play with toys and YOU go get buggies out of your teeth by doctor. NOT Kody’s teeth. NOT Kody’s buggies. Mommies!
Luckily Robby got out of class early and got there before the appointment started because it took him and two of the dental hygienist to get her all pumped up for it. It took quite a bit of convincing to let them “count her teeth. She was very proud of herself for having the exact amount and I was totally blown away about the staff there. My enie-minie-miney-mo of the phone book worked out! She left the office with a Sponge Bob sticker (which I hear the kids at school were very impressed by later) and a bag full of fun dental stuff like dino flossers and a tooth brush and plaque dye.
And THANKS to the ladies there we had to take her out to ice cream because they mentioned it once and¦well¦let’s just say Dakota has an impeccable memory when it comes to ice cream.
