My youngest was around 5 and would sometimes say the dinner prayer. We usually would end it with "bless this food to the nourishment of our badies" she would try to copy us but just didn't understand, so she ended her prayer with "and bless the nurses in our bodies".

You know the Menards commercials? She would sing along singing "save mig money at Nards".

I pronounce crown and crayon pretty much the same and my ex's oldest always corrected me

Then, I was playing Monopoly (which I hate) with another ex and her nephew, who was 5 or 6 at the time. I landed on Reading Railroad which I pronounced Redding She told him it was pronounced Reeding and I corrected her but she kept saing it and I was getting pissed~that's the kind of person she is~That's why she's an ex, but that's another story

Jacuzzi has at times been a cajoozi or a canoozi.

My daughter used to have 'mook and bics' (milk and biscuits before bedtime)

Her big sisters will forever be known as Rurah and Fremma.

When I was young and we'd be driving, everytime we passed a "Pass with Care" sign, I thought it said "Pass with Car" and I'd think "well what else are you going to pass with?"

This isn't about saying words, but also when I was young and we'd be out driving, as we were coming up to a stop sign they had those grate thingys that made the noise so you wouldn't miss the stop sign...I always thought it was for when blind people drove they'd know when to stop. :wah:

I love all the stories! :D

when my son was 3 we were out by the car and he said you have to stay away from the bushes so the croco-doddles don't get you. :D

my daughter couldn't say pizza when she was little. She called it pee-ha. So we still call it that sometimes. :D

oh, and she's 7 now and she wants a Nintendo DS for Christmas but she was calling it a Nintendo BS so that's what we call it now. :D
