Bagals i get, tomatoes are acidic.

My cat once ate raw dough. It was a trip to the vet because it hadn't risen.

He was o.k. but i expected the gutsy bugger to float by morning.

We do feed them all............. Honest! :wah:

I love marmite especially toasted cheese sandwiches with marmite. My dog didn't.

I don't get it, he eats vindaloo curry.

Was the crab still attached to the leg when your dog was playing with it? :wah:

Blimey, if you got the recipee, I'll pay you for it. I love shell fish. It sounds a little like Spanish paella. Scrummy.

My hubby is cooking me Chilli Con Carne mexican as we speak. (MY hubby does all the cooking).

Do your cats jump up on your work surfaces??? I hate that, mine do when my backs turned to steal bits off the counter :-5:-5

I once had a cat.

I made a meatloaf for supper.

I set the meatloaf on the kitchen counter and left the kitchen.

I came back.

The cat was on the counter eating the meatloaf.

No meatloaf for supper.

My family celebrated and ordered pizza delivery.

The cat was contented.

End of story

:D

Hey, what an idea for a great thread? Recipee's but i expect it's been done before.

can you pm me the recipee? Really? I'd love it honestly.

My little puppy is a theif, but not just food, regular inspection of her basket turns up missing tubes of toothpaste, slippers, lighters, my make up, anything. We still can't find hubby's electric drill, that's still a mystery. :wah:

Jambalaya is one of the South's most varied dishes. This version is made with shrimp and ham, but feel free to use sliced sausage, or cooked cubed chicken in place of the ham.

INGREDIENTS:

6 slices bacon, diced

1/2 cup minced onion

1/4 cup diced green bell pepper

2 cups chicken broth

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed

1 pound medium shrimp, shelled, cleaned

1 cup finely diced cooked ham

2 tablespoons cornstarch

3 tablespoons cold water

salt and pepper

hot cooked rice for 4

PREPARATION:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels to drain. In the bacon drippings, cook the minced onion and bell pepper until tender, about 5 minutes. Add chicken broth, ketchup, and brown sugar; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Cut the shrimp into smaller pieces. Add the shrimp and ham to the first mixture; heat through. Blend cornstarch and cold water and then stir into the mixture. Cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve with hot cooked rice.

Serves 4. never put Bacon or ketchup in my jambalaya. but like soup or chili there is 100 different ways to make it

My husband has also said thanks for that. he printed it off to do friday night for me when we're both home. We got a great fresh fish shop where we get fresh scallop and crawfish, is it okay to add them to it.

The rest of the ingrediant's i have in my cupboards.

I'm really looking forward to that.

I'd love a recipee for Cajun sticky chicken as well. I saw a black lady on t.v. here do it on a film in Georgia. God, it looked like heaven???

My puppy came in with a toy from the garden last week. We are baffled, we have never seen it in our lives before.:confused::confused:
