I did as a teenager working in a large store. I took a necklace, and had my friend come in and "pick out" the clothes I had already picked out and then pretended to ring her up. She gave me the clothes later after I got off work. I know, bad shel!!

teen magazines when I was a kid, owner said they were going to phone my parents......ran all the way home crying, told mom and dad...and the store never called!:-5

A little compact of Angel Face rouge when I was about 6 or 7. My grandmother was so heartsick over it. She waited me out and made my guilty conscience decide when to go back to the store. She brownbagged my theft and we walked back to the dimestore and I handed it to the cashier and said "I stole this." The lady talked down to me like adults do with kids and told me how I could have gone to jail for stealing it (how? they didn't know) blablabla and my German hardcore grandmother said "none of my other grandchildren have ever stolen anything." Well actually they had but she never knew about it. So I got the black sheep label at 6 or 7 because I stole a makeup compact.

Never have and I have no plans to start anywhere in the near future.

Ive done some really bad things.

I cant undo them but I try very very hard to be the best I can be now.

That person from the past does not exist anymore, hes dead.

Thought about it as a kid but never did it.

When ever I would think about stealing the words my Father said to us when he sat us down and said " You girls want to steal go right ahead, you better make it something worth being arrested for as he wouldn't be coming to bail us out anytime soon". Kinda put it into perspective for us.

Yes I stole some lollies when I was 8.

Had to take them back to the shopkeeper & give them back to her.

Tell her I was very sorry.

Went back home & copped a flogging for my trouble.

I deserved it.

I ended up working for that shopkeeper when I was 12.

I am pleased she had faith in me after my theft from her shop:-6

No never!.... seeing my mother frog march my sister for pinching a gob stopper back to the shop as a kid and having to tell them what she had done was enough for me to never steal... well that and I didn't want to feel the throb of the ear my sister felt! :wah:

We used to go into this store and these penny candy jars were all over the place it seemed... we sampled everything!:D

Yup, got busted too when I asked my mom to iron the iron on deals to my t-shirt had to go pay the grocery guy two dimes and took a good whuppin. Now I'm scared to eat peanuts out of the jar on the bar at the local pub.

Never shoplifted.....too much of a scaredy cat..........BUT.......when my kids were small and I was desperately poor (no excuse I know) I changed the label on the price tag to a smaller value so that I could afford the little jumper .......OH the Shame....
