I guess I am, as I still try to be appealing to my wife and keep her interest.
I plead guilty to trying to be well groomed most times and do look at my image in the mirror to check my waistline. I take a mower to the ongoing hairs that seem appear overnight in my ears and nostrils. Eyebrows? If I don't attack them daily I won't be able to see. Toenails? Wow!! Need a chainsaw for those suckers. Must be vanity that at age 74 I try hard to look no more than 73.

I feel good in nice clothes and enjoy colognes, I meticulously groom my goatee and get a haircut every 2 weeks and I take pride in my appearance but Ive never been accused of being vain.
Id have to say no.

I take good care of myself and my appearance I think, but I do that for me rather than for what anyone else thinks about me.... does that mean I'm vain? I dunno.... I'm the first to laugh at myself and my own flaws, 'cos I know I have 'em! none of us are bloody perfect afterall are we! :wah:.... at the end of the day if how I look makes 'me' feel good that's all that really matters to me....

I am terribly vain, i have to admit.
I'm not fashion concious, i still wear my Dr Martin boots from the 70's although they get alot of compliments as you can't buy knee high one's now.
I don't leave the house until all the make-up is on and i've changed my clothe's. I hate wearing anything twice.
My husband never understands why us women pull all our eyebrows out and then draw them back on.
I think personal hygiene is so important. To be honest, if some-one can't bother with themself, then i can't bother with them. There is nothing worse than a man with a hedgerow growing out of his nostrils or eyebrows heading north.
I don't mind beards as long as the chap washes it regually!! I don't want to see their eggy breakfast in it.
And teeth. I always look at teeth. The British have dreadfull teeth and there is no excuse.

I wear less make up now than I ever did and I have never worn much.
I wear some bronzing blusher and lipstick if i'm going out to work or shopping ect, if out for the night id add mascara.
I love perfume and I always wear it and I like Angel or Tommy Hilfiger.
I have to wash, blow dry and straighten my hair every morning, its in a pob sort of style and doesnt take me any longer than 10 mins.
I like clothes but don't have to have labels or expensive and have even bought second hand.
I cant stand dirty smelly sweaty...I hate manky teeth and dirty finger nails.
Bad breath makes me heave.
I wouldn't class myself as vain but I look after myself and take pride in my appearance.

I couldn't agree more.
I have gone in people's bathroom's and wanted to heave.
Pubes in the shower, soap scum around the taps, stained bog bowls, slimy flannels, over-flowing laundry baskets. Yuk Yuk, it makes you want to wipe your feet when leaving their house.
A bit of bleach doesn't cost much :-5

I would say not in the slightest. I spend my work life (part time) making other women look pretty (hair, beauty & nails) is my job so i need vain people. Whilst doing this my own hair is scraped back in a ponytail & i have no make up on, i'm showered & smell nice & in uniform.
The biggest part of my day is taken up by my dogs, i am usually covered in muck & paw prints, i smell strongly of kibble, bones & drool. I am often to be found in the woods at 6am with a large jumper & trousers pulled over my p.j's & any random hat, gloves & scarf that happens to be lying around. I dont care in the slightest what i look like & this is when i am at my happiest.
My body i would say is overweight according to statistics, i have in the past tried to lose a bit but it has made me unhappy, i enjoy my food. I also need it as i'm hiking for 2-3 hours daily with the dogs.
We only really go out to functions & on those occasions i do make an effort & look damned good, nobody recognizes me :wah:
On the whole to be honest i prefer what i look like when with my dogs, thats the real me warts n all :-4

Not I. Am a blue collar worker, have to wear jeans, and tshirt and steel toed boots, come winter I am buried under a hoodie and a down vest too... not much attention paid to my figure then ahahahaha (what figure)
Happy to throw the hair into a ponytail and go.
Don't wear make up and haven't for decades so I would say I am low maintenance.

Not vain. Just clean, and preserved with effort. Like to be presentable but only to be comfortable as me.
